Hello, everyone! Japanese culture is gathering attention from all over the world, Takayama Nishi Senior High School tea ceremony and flower arrangement club learns tea ceremony of Urasenke and flower arrangement of Ikenobo. Through this activity, we learned hospitality as a Japanese, beautiful way of moving, nature's beauty of each season and excellence to feel the elegant.
There were many things that we couldn't do and it was tough, but Ms. Kitamura, Ms. Nakayama and Ms. Hanaki taught us passionately, 3rd grade students could have full proficiency in flower ceremony. You can get licensed of beginner in tea ceremony.
We keep in mind to do what we are supposed to do. Especially greetings, how to handle tea utensils, cleaning and keeping things tidy and in order are very important things to learn tea ceremony and flower arrangement. Through these activities, we want to hand down Japanese culture - which is the spirit of harmonizing with nature's beauty, the spirit of honoring silence and purity and the spirit of respecting others and being polite to others - to future Japan. We think it's our mission and we do our best every day. Let's hand beautiful Japanese culture down to future Japan together. We are looking forward to seeing you!!
